Stages 1 ­ 4

Stage 1 ­ REVOLT

This level makes a good training ground. The key to this map is the bridge. Position your tanks off the road to the left of the bridge, blocking the enemy tanks. With your three Bison tanks against their two, you have an advantage. Let the enemy come to you­hold your position and rotate damaged tanks with fresh ones.

Block the advance of the enemy tanks while forcing them to stay on the road where they are out in the open.

Here you get terrain and support advantages.

Stage 2 ­ ICARUS

Place all of your Bison's on rocky terrain, this gives you terrain advantages and forces enemy tanks to attack from the road again.

You have five tanks to the enemy's three. Stay on the hills!

Surround the enemy Bison's on both sides and you'll destroy them quickly. (see tip below.)

Stage 3 ­ CYRANO

This map is the first one where you'll encounter a factory. Pin down the enemy tanks by blocking them on two sides. As soon as the SG-4 Hadrian appears, attacks it. The trick here is to prevent the enemy from repairing weapons with the factory. Always capture factories before the enemy can use them against you!

Place your tanks on opposite sides of the enemy and see how much your attack power increases...

The enemy factory on this level contains a GX-87 and an SG-4. Damaged enemy tanks can use the factory to repair themselves. A repair takes one turn to enter the factory, and one to exit.

Stage 4 ­ RAMSEY

This map uses two screens that scroll vertically. The best tactic on Ramsey is to hold your ground and let the enemy come to you. Don't stay near the main base in the lower left; keep close to the factories. An important tactic in every level: use your GX-77 and GX-87 troops as lures to draw in enemy artillery.

Bring your GX-87 troops to the neutral factory. protect them from the spaceships using your Seekers (AAG-4). Block tanks coming in from the right.

Seekers defense improves if you set them up on a hill or rocks. Blocking in the spaceships on two sides with kill 'em quicker.

Use your Hadrians to shell the enemy...but keep them protected!
